Professional Accomplishments:
After obtaining his DVM from the University of Florida, Dr. Woods performed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Colorado State University. He was invited to remain at CSU for an additional three years to perform a residency in small animal internal medicine. During his residency, Dr. Woods completed and published several research studies in feline infectious diseases, while also earning a Master\uffffs degree in Clinical Sciences. Dr. Woods attained board certification in small animal internal medicine in 2005. Before joining Carolina Veterinary Specialists in 2008, Dr. Woods worked in large specialty practices in both Southern California and Florida.
